Ofsted has called for a review of school safeguarding policies to ensure that victims of sexual abuse are supported effectively. The review, follows concerns raised online in recent months, including on the Everyone’s Invited website.

CSE BAIT Resource for Schools
The BAIT resource pack has been specifically designed for use by Secondary School and FE Colleges, targeted at 14-17 year olds students, to raise awareness and understanding of the dangers of Child Sexual Exploitation. The BAIT resource pack, which includes, a DVD and Work Book.

The DfE have updated the Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance, this also includes a part 1 summary for all staff in schools and colleges.

The DfE have publised Safeguarding guidance for providers of activities, after-school clubs, tuition and other out-of-school settings code of practice. The safeguarding guidance is for providers of activities, after-school clubs, tuition and other out-of-school settings.
